FOU indicates an issue with the outdoor sensor. It is shorted, damaged, or disconnected from the boiler.
- Check outdoor sensor connections and wiring. Ensure the sensor and wiring are intact and that the sensor is connected to the boiler.
- Check the outdoor sensor resistance with an ohmmeter.
- Replace the outdoor sensor.
