Solution for error code 1684

Your printer is having trouble recognising the cartridge(s). This may be because the gold contact area on the front of the cartridge has been obscured. Remove the cartridge and make sure there is no dirt/ink obscuring the gold contact area. This can be done using a kitchen towel. Reinstall the cartridge and attempt to print once again. If the error message persists, please contact your supplier.
